One thing he said caught my eye when I read the article. "I could have sold this [technology] off, but then people might not have seen it."

Thats why 99% of the fuel saving technology never sees the light of day. The oil/auto industries buy the patents and then put them into the round file.

GM underhandedly tried to buy out Tesla-Motors and are still trying to this day... Why? Because they created an Electric Sports car that will put the Corvette to shame... Granted the damn thing is $100k BUT STILL...

Big car companies have this philosophy... if you can't beat em... buy em.

hahaha Bill im not against you... I still like the Corvette! lol Im just saying that GM legit tried to buy out Tesla in order to stop them from introducing that technology.

proof? I want facts not some nut jobs account on what happened. what happens when your 50 batteries need to be replaced because of the memory effects?

Seriously, the Tesla will run faster than a z06 to 60, but won't touch the ZR1.

And the Tesla will run out of juice at full bore in about 50 miles, although it has about a 120mi charge rate. The price is 20K more than the Z06, and about even with the ZR1...best thing that the Tesla has over either of those cars, is that it is a roadster.

I would still take the Corvette C6 over the Tesla...most bang for your buck. Bar none...and I am a ford guy.
