Yeah he just took out pictures, and handed me his note book to write down our names. I'm sure he would have asked more, but we had a generator running (turbine powered), so there wasn't much talking.

Either way, it only takes 30 seconds to google GPS and figure out whats its for.

it was the car not the alarm...i use mostlly autopage...problem with the car is that there are 3 ignitions, 3 accessory circuits, ( remote starts come preinstalled with 1 acc and 2 ignition) now heres the weird part, the 3rd accesory is in 2 locations in the bcm and both must be isolated and powered so there is 4 relays(1 ignition and 3 accessory), the start circuit also requires a relay due to the push button start, its fairly straightforward but without the car here i cant explain again what went on but dei gives really good schematics with the xk programmable interfaces so that makes 5 relays, now throw in having to isolate the seperate left and right lighting circuits and you have a total of 7 relays....i know some will say use diodes....ever see them catch fire? i have, i dont entirely trust them on someones brand new car......a relay is dependable, ive had wires go up in smoke all around a relay and the relay is still good ( hey you all had your learning experiences, when i was yournger i was more interesting in relays than fuses) ...oh and after the install you ahve to toggle the key on and off with your foot on the brake to get into programming mode........THERES NO KEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NO KEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NOPE!~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NOT A SINGLE ****ING KEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!JUST A LITTLE THING THAT YOU CAN STICK IN A SLOT IN THE DASH OR NOT APPARANTELY.....I DROVE AROUDN WITH IT IN MY BACK POCKET AND PULLED IT OUT OF THE SHOP WITH IT ON THE SUNROOF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

excuse me i melted just a little there.....remote starts are not difficult for the experience remote start installer. they can suck for anyone and for the novice they will have you crying like a bitch that done lost itws mommas teet....i like relays they get wired right and do exactly what they supposed to do.
