Please tell me why I should not strap them. I can do wire them either way but I thought strapped would be just as good if not better. The only amps I had problems with balancing were the MD3's I just got rid of so I guess I will wire them individually for the most power. I should of listened to you in the first place about US Amps, they are horrible, in my opinion. Would of been better off with the Autotek MM4000.1. Will I get around the same power out of these 2 Hifonics BXI2607's as I would from 1 Autotek MM4000.1? I am running 2 Dual 2 ohm subs. Each wired to a 1 ohm load.

when you strap an amp you loose efficiency.

you would probably get a bit more power from the two bxi2607s.

So I would get more power from the 2 2607's wired individually, or would I still get more power wired strapped. Thanks for your help

And what kind of power can I expect out of each amp on a steady 12.5-13v, while bumping at full volume, at a 1 ohm load?

you seem like you really want to strap the amps any reason for this?

i cant give you a good estimate and i wont because i don't know your application or your box rise.

No I do not want to strap the amps, I want to wire them to where I get the most power. Which from what you are telling me is individually. I was just wondering the amount of power I would lose strapping them. Subs are Dual 2's and the load goes from 1 ohm to 1.2 ohm with box rise.

on amps of that size probably 500 or so watts. i guarantee and bet my life its not going from 1 to 1.2. thats almost impossible. i bet its closer to 3 ohm. 75% of boxes i have tested are 3x or 3 times dcr for reactive.
