1st attempt at LED Turn Signals

HMMM, Never thought about doing that before.
Might have to look into it, and see how hard it would be to do?? hmmmm..

I know no other Camaro would have that.

Didn't you write a tutorial on wiring LEDs at some point? I need to look that up because half the lights in my dash have already gone out. I might as well replace them with LEDs that I know will last the rest of the lifetime of the car.

If you really want to see how to LEDs, take a look at HIDPlanet.

They have a whole forum dedicated to just LEDs, and I've learned a ton from there. I've seen a few nice dash retros there, you get a lot of ideas too.

Chris, how much would it cost for me to have you make me a couple of LED strips that i could use for tail lights? each about a foot in length, and wired up and ready to install and all that(if possible) :happy055:

Usually how I do them is cut a board to fit the tail light itself. So it fits right in there. It be easier then trying to wire up separate strips, later on.

Would you just want the LEDs in rows.

im wanting to do something similair to this, only not a long strip, and in the middle or so, the same size though, as long as they are fully functional, turn signal, breaking..etc..

Ah turns too.. Until I totally figure out what's going on with the indicators in the Camaro. I don't think I'll do anything that needs blinkers. Turns suck if you want to do it right

Another thing I'm thinking of is, all the PC Boards I find are at most 6 inches in length. So I would have to solder/glue 2 together to get a foot in length. So if the tail light you use, isn't defused or somehow not totally transparent. That might show.
