Pioneer Premier DEH-P880PRS... any alternate choices?

Yes some of the Higher end Kenwoods and also the JVCs...
But I really do like that Premier 880... who cares about if it's that shiney or not... it's still a sexy h/u :)

the new kenwood KDC-X991 i think uses burr-brown DACs. but im not 100%.
its right up there with the 880. and has built in 512MB of memory to rip stuff too. all sorts of other stuff.

FWIW, Burr Brown makes crap DACs as well as good DACs.
