I'd leave it alone. I was charged with assault a while back. I was told to just pleade guilty, that it was a minor charge and it would all just go away anyway. NOT!!! I had to do 120 hours of community service, pay a shit load in court costs, take anger management classes and was on probation for like a year. And, that blemish also lost me several jobs.

Trust me, you don't want to press this issue if it could get you charged. Just leave it alone now.

If there have been a lot of breakins lately... then I'm sure he isn't going to want any added exposure. So best bet is to let it die and go get yourself an alarm (which you shoulda had anyway)... want added protection, set up a camcorder in the window (outta plain site) and hook it to a VCR for 6-8 hr taping... This way if he is stupid enough to try something again as payback, then you've got him on tape ;)

the car they were in wasnt the one i drive its this dodge van that ive been working on and using for storage i figured there was no need for an alarm. i have an alarm in my chevy van but it doesnt work right now cuz when i got this van the wiring was a mess i even had a small electrical fire when i first got it. so i cleaned it all up but left the alarm unhooked cuz i figured i was safe
