Are you sure that those subs are "hk" and not "XL", cause there's no listing for a MA1800HK just the MA1800XL
If that's the case the retail on each is $585.99

i didnt even check them, ill hve to pullt hem out of the boxes and see what they say on the back. i bought the 6x9s,5.25s, and 18s all together..i just assumed i got what they told me they gave me..lookin at the hk 12s they dont look anythign liek my subs, so im gonna guess theyre the xe or xl or whatever they are..

and smoker... place in texas called discount stereo. phone number is 281 313 3107.... i think i paid 50 bucks a piece for them..

heres the aprox size on the boxes

They look like the XLs and if you're getting that kinda travel outta them where they hit each other they probably are... and I still say that you're strangling those things and if you port the boxes you have it will only make it worse since a ported enclosure needs to be larger than a sealed.

well im pretty well out of money at the moment, but would someone mind figuring out the dimensions for me for the new one when i get some money.
absolute biggest the dual enclosure could be and still fit in my truck is 63x23x22

Optimum in ported enclosure for those listed by Ma Audio is 5 cubic ft. each (minus sub displacement)
Ports Round (2) 6" x 17"
Port Square 3" x 8.5" x 17"
And according to manufacturers specs that should have you tuned to 40hz

Not recommended, but able is Sealed enclosure at 2.5 cu. ft. each (minus sub displacement)

im not the best at math, ill really screw this thing up if i try to figure out wut to do with what u just gave me.

and being an ma dealer, what do you think about the hk52 and hk 69 speakers? thats what im running.

they seem to work really good for what i need them for (entertaining myself on the way to work, and everyoen else when im cruisin mainstreet) but after being on this forum for a little whiel im considering checkign into settin my stuff up for competing. i dont really know a hole lot about the competitions,a nd im pretty sure how my subs re set up and the moment i couldnt do it, but with a little work on the subs and putting an amp to the other components (theyre just running right off my h.u. for now cause i need to get some rca cables) i might be able to do it. i dunno whats your opinion?

feet cubed = height times width times depth
f³ = h * w * d
Therefore, one cubic foot is 12 x 12 x 12.

Now you say competition... are you refering to SPL or SQ?
If SPL is your goal then you don't even have to worry about your speakers... unless you just wanna amp your front stage for a better driving sound
If SQ then you've got a long way to go, cause none of your system will do for that including the subs

And if you're just asking for my general opinion on your speakers... honestly the Ma speakers are all right, but kinda a middle of the road set(s) that could be had for cheaper for equal sound from lesser companies.
