NEw BOX for the Q18

and i have used the sub with three three inch ports facing into the car with the seat down.. no port wistle... i was thinking of going with atleast 2 4 inch ports, and now that you mention ill price out four

I would go for the Precision ports. There like $14 or so per 4" ones, get 5 of them.

Dayton Audio also makes some.

Both can be had on parts express's website.

ok awesome only problem is finding a spot large enough for five on the box... Well not really finding a spot but more or less an ideal positioning to fire them into the trunk lid.. My glassing is moving very slowly im gonna need alot of glass no doubt about it. So i guess that gives me time to iron out the final designs.

tire well gave me about 3 cubic feet.
I can post images but the car is still sitting at the garage taken apart.. not much to see.

yeah my tire well is gonna be about three, how thick is your glassing in the tire well?

ok well i have all the fiberglassing done in the tire well and flooring i braced the inside of the tire well just to be positive it cant flex will update as a i go now im into the amp racks

i have four big dowel rods in the tire well to put pressure on the walls to keep them from flexing and i put them in there with more of a functionality then a look, they are crooked and thick but they are doing the trick as i fiberglass i doubt i will be able to get them back out but no big deal they wont get in the way..
