the roads around here are sheets of ice. the wind is blowing so bad, the salt wont stay down.

Yeah, the roads are pretty bad around here. I live in the country so they are really bad. I have 4X4 though so I can get around pretty easily in it, but it is a level 3 snow emergency, emergency vehicles only on the road.

There was a city in New York state the other day that got 11 feet of snow over 3 days.

I heard about that, total they got like 20 or so feet of snow in some places in 4 days. That is some hardcore snowfall.

The snow is starting to melt slightly, so its making ALL the snow very wet and VERY heavy...

yeah its hell to get around, steerts are coverd with snow... still hasnt stoped snowing
