A 91 is a very good score, I can't remember what I got but it was pretty good too. E4 is when you start making some money especially when you get time in service, which is a pay raise every year. Deployments are definitely were it is at, I was in the Army in a job with very few people in it, so I was deployed, overseas, and doing other assignments constantly, no I wasn't SF but have worked with them before.

The pay scales start at E1, and go up to E9 (E = enlisted)
The higher the number the more you get for your base pay, and the more your aloted for housing, bills, and so one.

Thats the list for active duty. It doesn't matter what branch your in, our base pay is all the same.
I know it doesn't sound like much, but thats just the base. I get money on top of that each month for Bills, Rent, Food, and cost of living since i live overseas.
The other cool thing, you only pay tax on your base pay. All the extra is tax free.

I have a home now
In my name and everything
My fiance and her child (I'm probally gonna adopt her dunno yet we gotta discuss it) will be living here. Thats one reason I'm hesitant on joining a major branch becuase I think I'll be away from them longer. Heck I'll probally be away no matter what I do.
So if I enroll as an E-2 I'll get 1,427.40 a month + 509.40 (if I claim amanda(fiance)/daughter(tara) ?
+ 250 for family seperation?
