Oh trust me, I wasn't unfortunate enough to have paid for it. My niece bought it and let me borrow for a listen. In that genre, I'm more a fan of the vocalists in bands like Within Temptation, Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, Lullacry, Leaves' Eyes, Epica, After Forever and the like. Most of the good female fronted rock is coming from Scandinavia. Susanna Vesilahti from Unshine is good, though some of the band's music is still a bit experimental at this point, she can sing her ass off.

Delain I haven't heard yet, but I'll definately add it to the list

I'm a sucker for female rockers.

i didnt like this album that much either.. they all sound the same, especially near the end.. look into Lacuna Coil, much better and stronger all around.. but i did think the new Evanescene album had awesome sq.

Yeah I can speak on this cause I havce a full blown studio in my home...Nothing major but nothing short of large...When it comes to a voice in a ladie they must have a uniqueness to them...The also must be able to sing loud and sing clear...Singing clear....No sssssss in there s's and hard d's in there d's...Stuff like that...They also must have a voice that can hold a note if needed meaning they must be able to sing the word without going out of that current octave...Hey if ytou all want to hear the music we record in our studio check it out.

I cant say a whole lot.

I like certain songs, some I just think WTF?

We went and seen her live a few months back. She performed very well.

I was told by someone else that seen her live she sucked. Not the case IMHO. But then again, we all have our bad days.
