The resonant engineering sub for $59 is a good deal. Now the issue is that amplifier just has to much power for the sub!
200WRMSx1 @4Ohms
350WRMSx1 @2Ohms
So if you go the RE route you will want 2 subs, and you will have 100 WRMS per sub (maybe a tad weak).
Look for a dual voice coil (4 Ohms per coil) woofer that requires 400 WRMS.
TREO engineering looks quite juicy, and there is a 12" that fits your needs perfectly on E Bay.
Link in for sale section oh guinea pig :)
Not to detract from Justins sales, but building a sealed box is quite easy. If you have a jig saw available and a lowes/home depot near you your almost done.
Design your box, probably just a rectangle or perfect cube. Get the exact sizes wrote down you need the boards to be to fit together to make proper size.
Go into store, buy wood. Take to the panel saw. First two cuts are usually free, thereafter 0.25$ per cut. I did a fairly complex ported enclosure and it cost me $2.25 to have it all cut. If I would have done this with a circular saw it would have taken two HOURS OR MORE! Buy 2" drwall screws and a tube of liquid nails. Take home glue edges/screw together. Cut hole for sub. Drill hole for speaker wire. Install sub. DONE!

What about this? http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/400
uh oh hey dont tell him to get wood, he might get anything!!
, make sure you get 3/4 MDF!!
. yeah in all seriousness, making a box is really easy man.. you do it once then you feel pretty confident in doing another... you probably will spend.. maybe around $25 for the sheet of MDF, screws, and liquid nails and to get it cut... pick up another tube liquid nails if you think you wont have enough, also drill the smallest hole you can for the speaker wire to go through and seal it up with liquid nails also make sure you predrill the holes for the screws using a bit smaller than the screw ofcourse.. space them maybe 6" or so apart... and the Type R is a good sub, i think you'd be happy with it... if you have a Best Buy or Circuit City you can pick up a Q Logic box.. id go with a sealed probably.. its up to you really.. anymore questions just ask us!
Okay, I think I'll go for the Type R with my alpine amp. With this combo, which box would be best for them:

If I did decide to go with 'build it yourself' are there any detailed instructions on this? Thanks.
