i used to say soda but my dads second wife when i was a kid was from the wrong side of the river and ever since then i have said pop.......i get some weird looks sometimes but there is enough ohio/kentucky inbreeding that it largely goes unnoticed anymore

When my mom first moved down to the south she said Pop...
well at school her first day she kept walking around asking people where the pop machine was. She got a call into the principals office because someone turned her in saying she was asking for the pot machine...

I thought it was cool.
I say whatever comes to mind both parents are northern and I've been in the south my whole life so its coke,pepsi,pop, whatever in all honesty I don't pay attention to it.

I remember getting this coke for like 30 cents me and a bud use to walk to the store with a dollar each and get a coke and a candybar
It was something like Sasha or something I don't think it was Fanta...came in a TON of different flavors I remember getting Root Beer all the time and he would get Cream Soda...
damn I wish I could remember the name of that stuff.

Where I started at it was soda(AZ) then moved to IL it became pop. And some other state just calls it coke....anyone know what place that is?
