Ok, heres the ass end of a McIntosh:

RCAs: Front and rear out (4 channels).
Analog input (L,R) then a set of Inputs (L,R)
Ok the big one I assume is CD changer controller. Whats the little one???
Finally I lift the tail to expose the... Optical output...

So, whats analog input... Whats the grey little female plug that almost looks like an antenna but its not...
