I have always ran mine together with no prob. You do not want to run the RCA's with the power or ground however. You will have noise then.

You need to watch running your signal wires by crossovers and I'm sure certain in-car parts more specifically than power/ground wire.

dont worry about running your remote wire with the rca. it carrys VERY LIttle power and will cause no ill effect. same goes for the power wire. even though your power wire or any power wire for that mater give off EMI a good set of RCA is normaly more then enough to over come this. although many people will tell you different it is a fact that with proper wires in good condition and build quality that there is not enough interference to cause any problem.

I couldn't find it, but I'm pretty sure one guy did a challenge where if you could prove that your power/ground was inducing noise into your signal wires that you'd win money. Much like the blind test that one other guy did in reference to amplifiers.

A lot of your upper grade rca's have the remote wire built right in, which still doesn't make a whole lot of sense when you accout for the apposable sides of the amp, but none the less the remote is safe.

that is not a remote wire it is for grounding purposes. it gives a ground between the head unit and the amp. older amps used to have a connection for this purpose and many current audiophile grade amps still do. many people use them as a remote but this was not the original purpose of the wire

I realize that, but now many companies actually advertise it as the remote, that's why I thought it so silly.
