well they are not the nicest sets but they are not crap IMO. dont get me wrong they are very loud but when playing very heavy bass they seem to get drowned out big time. i guess i can just let these sit in the closet for awhile until i figure somthing out. when i buoght them i bought four sets as part of a close out auction. i put two sets to use and sold one. i was just trying to put the other one to good use instead of collecting dust.
i keep reading that people think the 06 L7's suck but i have to say these two 15" subs are crazy loud and sound good while doing it. I have had several people all comment on how shocked they were to here a set of 15's sound so clean and be so loud at the same time. i wont be entering any Sq comps thats for sure but i find them to be really nice sub for the price i paid (300) for BOTH. these subs with the component sets i have do seem to over power them. Keep in mind that IMO when bass gets this loud my soundstange is the last thing i'm thinking about. i would just be happy if they kept up a bit better

looking up the sepcs on those components, they do look impressive in fact but you appear to be underpowering them by more than half. their rated at 125w rms and if your only running one zx350.4, thats only 60w rms to each. maybe try getting another zx350.4, and run each set off one bridged. or try their zx650.4. i know you just made that beautiful amp rack, but those do seem to be underpowered and may be why their not keeping up with your subs, which are getting plenty of power from that zx1500.1.

if you lived close at all i would let you try my kx350.4 in there (im not using right now anyway) with you zx350.4 to see how it sounds with both sets more than properly powered, but floridas alil more than a fun cruise from michigan.
oh, and im not so sure about what u mean by their next four channel amp fits the same spot, becuase the zx650.4 is the next step up from the zx350.4 and its 7 inches longer. 20" compared to 13.5".

thats would be cool. oh well. i could just buy one and try it and if i dont like it return it.
the amp rack was made for two 1500.1's then I ended up using one. it would just end up covering some of the bottom design. heck if i really had to i would just hide the new amp and leave the 350 there just for looks lol. no way i'm redoing the rack

i see. so you could technically put another 350 and another 1500 on the bottom of that beauty. way to think ahead. also, let me know how well that kicker kq30 works out for you. im thinking of possibly getting one for my set-up.Ampresearch wrote:thats would be cool. oh well. i could just buy one and try it and if i dont like it return it.

i will let you know about the eq. i just got it yesterday for the price i cuold nto pass it up. got it for only 200 bucks. i'm really excited to try it. I ripped out my center counsol that flips up in between my two front seat and i will be mounting it in there. this way it will have a cover but when flipped up it should look really nice. it happens to fit so perfect it was as it it was made for it
