That CD7000 is one expensive unit but is sweet. The GPS is just software that comes with the HU. For HD radio, you need to buy the $400 dollar eclipse HD Radio Tuner to be able to get HD Radio.....
I have a question for all of you Eclipse lovers... how do you guys think the lower model Eclipse's are... like the CD3000??

Eclipse is Eclipse, one of the last well made head units on the market, I feel.
You could also look into the CD 8445 over the CD7000.

I wish I had an 85 degree day and 50% humidity.
Paper mill I used to work at was 140 degrees average throughout the plant, with 100% humidity since you have to spray the felts to get the paper to stick. 160 in the back corners.
I like Eclipse as well. Some of the newer upper-end Clarion decks are quite nice.

Yeah don't get high def radio. If you want better sound from the radio go with sat.
No you don't have to pay for GPS. The airforce controls the satalites, and anyone can pick up the signal and use it.

i do like the fact that eclipse made the cd7000 with a detatchable faceplate. between going to school in flint, michigan and always going home to youngstown ohio, trust me, people in both places are shady as hell and not the brightest. and when they see a nice looking deck in a lone car, their gunna break in and take it whether or not they know they cant use it later. even if i just throw it in the console... the vast majority of people arent going to break into a car with a good security system for a deck with the face off on the off chance that the person left the faceplate in the car somewhere. just my 2 cents, and the only reason keeping me from getting a 8445.

This isnt as hot as The Pouring floor at a foundry but it would make u hurt if u had to work in small attics Installing Air Ducts or even worse the small crawl spaces u have to get into to do demo work in a house... I have done all of that crap and i dont think ill ever do it again... I hate the feeling of Fiberglass insulation on my skin and then on top of that being about 120 in that attic
