100 gram for varmits?? you must have some big azz rats around your place lol.
my largest gun is my marlin 45/70. that thing is like a shoulder mounted cannon. but at nearly 2.00 everytime i pull the trigger i dont shoot it much. plus the people at the range gat all pissy becasue other member complain about the shockwave it send out while they are trying to shoot lol. I also have the marlin 450 in pistol grip version. nothing is more fun then punching yourself in the face everytime you pull the trigger due to the kick back lol

need meaty shoulders.. that thing leaves dents in ya when you shoot it.
I have some super 8mm tracer rounds for it and some jacketed hardpoints. rounds are expensive for that firle, too, but it's bolt-action accurate.

yep its a big gun. like i said no one in the range likes it when i bring it. it has a ported barrel and the wave that comes off that thing will rock your fillings lol. I never shoot more then a few times. my arms cant take more then that lol.
i dont do any loading. and like i said it cost nearly 2.00 bucks every time i pull the trigger. alot more then that if i wanted to buy top notch rounds. you should try the 450 hand gun. it is the 45/70's little/big brother.
my fav gun to shoot with my heavy barrel 223. i use a leupold vx-III scope.
600 yard 5 shot groups at 1.18th seperation from a bench. gota love it.
