If I go with class D ,it would be the bx1000d. If I go with a class A/B ,it would be the zx4000 or zx6000. I didn't know if the zx6000 would be too much for the sub to handle.
600 rms insnt that big of a deal either. and yes you are correct on top of that music dynamic. also his reactive load will be higher than 1 ohm so it will be seeing less than 600

nice, resistance rise right? all amps do that, how much is the rise usually?
impedance rise happends because of alot of things all due to resistance. u cant really guess as to the rise you can only calcualate it and you need a clamp meter and a voltage meter.
The subwoofer is a 12" Pioneer Premier (ts-sw1241d) rated for 350 watts rms and is a single voice coil and is 4 0hm. I will only be using one subwoofer. The zx6000 is 500x1 @ 4 ohms bridged and the zx4000 is 400x1 @ 4 ohms bridged.---Would the 500x1 amp be too much for the 350 watt rms subwoofer??
Max rating means nothing. RMS power is a thermal rating. You CAN push subs at more than their RMS, but for short times only. I would go with the 400 watt amp and be safe. you dont wanna go killing that sub (or do you?)
