or have the shop that messed it up pay for it. Looks like they caused it :) But like what John said it's gonna cost a pretty penny to have a JL amp fixed. To get a sub reconed from them cost about 400 bucks. So ya go figure

i tried e-mailing jl and they said they won't fix it because i bought if off of ebay.
little under 300 . . if i get my money back, i'm thinking about going with a kicker 600 tho, i've used kicker amps before and they are much easier to tune.

this is why i warn people and try to get them to buy from an authorized dealer. companies like jl and other high ends wont even deal with you if you bought it off ebay or got it from some other sorce like that. and as a person running a buisness in this field that makes me happy.
That's how most amplifiers get damaged in the first place. Serial numbers are burned off so the amp can't be tracked to them, ends up damaging the amp in the process. It's hit or miss. That's why companies like JL won't honor that, and why they're so determined to crack down on internet sales.
if you still are looking for a 500/1 my friend has one for sale that i guarentee is in perfect working order. im sure he will take 300 shipped for it too.
nah, thanks tho. i'm just gonna see if i get my money back and buy a new one or a kicker sx650. i hooked my subs up to the rear channels of my 300/4. if i have it turned up, they sound pretty good. lol
