Glass, I've looked at 3ch amps, and I can't find a single one with 2x100(ish)w RMS and 1 x 500(ish)w RMS?????

Someone please advise...

you won't find one with that much power.
why do you need 100x2 for front speakers?
50-75 watts per channel is plenty really.. double the power from that is at best a 3dB gain which isn't close to twice the volume.. it's noticeable but not "substantial."

if you want a single amp solution most seem to peak out around 50-75/chan front, and 250-350 for the sub

Thanks for the advice glass.

I think I'll go with 2 separate amps, as the RE will need more than 350w RMS.

Im thinking JBL P180.2 (2 x 90w RMS @ 4ohms) for the Infinity Perfect 5.1 (100w RMS)

Then MTX 6500D (1 x 500w RMS @ 2 ohms - 12.2 VDC, 1 x 775 watts @ 2 ohms - 14.4 VDC) for the 12" RE SE Sub (600w RMS).

What are the chances of my car powering the amps at less than 14.4 VDC???

Your advice is much appreciated Glass, keep up the good work! :)

Thanks for the advice JoeyC, but 125w is too much for my front stage, and I need 2 ohms for the sub (its a 4ohm DVC).

Pretty good actually. Most stock charging systems charge at around 13.6-14.4.

If you upgrade your alternator, you have a better chance keeping the voltage high.

Wait why do you need around 500-750W for a 12" RE RE? Isnt that sub like 175w RMS? Did I misread something?

You misread, I have a RE SE (600w RMS).

I run a Kicker KX600.1 it's a good amp, the birth sheet rates it at 710w @ 2 ohms
