well, i read somewhere that sub to sub the SE's arent as good but are a ton cheaper. Anyone else have any input on other subs that are comparable to the SE??
What about say diamond audio d6 or d9?? Or image dynamics IDQ or IDMax?? Maybe Alpine type R or X?? I havent heard the SE's before so i am trying to get a feel for what they sound like from other speakers.
That thing better be packing a bunch of magic tricks, cause it sure doesn't have the linear excursion to touch a W7, nor does it incline itself to ported boxes.
Imo, The w610 had better sound quality than the w6V2. I owned both of them at the same time and had each of them in my camaro at separate times. The V2 had a better low end responce and seemed less power hungry. The W6AE i had responded very well to the 300 watts i put toward it. The s/q was far better than my RE10 and a L710. The V2 did get louder but responded alot better with a Memphis M Class 500D. IMO, the W6 1st edition was a better choice for s/q, but the V2 did get some louder. T
