I might as well list what was stolen:

2 12" Audiobahn subs rated at 400rms each-Paid about $100 for them on ebay.
1 Audiobahn A8000T 800.1@2 ohms-Paid i think $250 for it.
Pre fab sealed box for the 12's-$50
Pioneer DEH-P3600...My favorite thing that was stolen btw..paid only $127 on ebay...Loved the deck though. Funny thing is..they must have been in a hurry because they dropped the faceplate on the ground so it wont be any use to them..unless they can find just the faceplate..My guess is it will end up on ebay somewhere. I also lost almost all my cd's..besides 3 of them..worth well over $250 there. So yea 6three6mafia6 I did have reasonably cheap equipment stolen, however no matter what gets stolen from you it really p***es you off. No matter who it happens to or what kind of a system you have stolen..it feels terrible to know that you worked hard for everything you have and some moron decides he'll just take it for free. The guy didn't get caught this time..but one time or another i'm sure someone will catch him..The guy thinks he can keep getting away with that kind of s**t, but one time he'll steal from the wrong person. I guess I can use this as a learning experience. Other than getting an alarm i'm not gunna park in my grass any longer..ill park it closer to the house. Also for my next setup..maybe 4 12's is the way to go..A nice massive box to go with them.....that way, one person will have a hell of a time getting it out. Just an idea..who knows

That sucks. Always sad to hear. One suggestion, which is even more effective than alarms: Don't be noticeable. Not accusing, but make sure you don't blast your system around town. Don't make yourself a target.

Take a list of all your stuff that got stolen to local pawn shops and check ebay for the new week or two.

If you happen to find out who stole your stuff, burn their car down and spray paint "I'm a thief and I'm gay" on their house as big as you can.

Seriously look into Pawn Shops.

EBay is so vast you wouldnt ever be able to accuse anyone off there unless they are not to bright and put a city, and the city being really small.

An alarm is a must these days. Especially a good one with a Pager.

Use the security screws also. Bolt the box down.

The theif at this point will either leave or destroy your equipment/car trying to get it.

Unless this is a half smart thief with ample time. Come out, hop in your car. Look in dash and see a factory deck? Turn it on, no more boom. Take doors apart theres factory speakers?

:surprised

yeah the compustar 2WSS-AS alarm/remote start with microwave, dual level impact, glass breakage, 4 window roll-up module, imobilizer bypass, battery backup siren, and electronic hood bolt. It uses spread spectrum for transceiving. Range is insane.
It's a very nice two-way alarm system.

I only dislike using it in the Jeep because then I lose the dual driver power seat memory feature that auto-adjusts the driver seat position based on which remote is used to disarm the factory alarm.. haha Man I love luxury cars lol

PS, regarding the CD theft, I suggest never keeping original CDs in your car for numerous reasons including heat damage and warping as well as theft. Use CD-R copies (Nero 6 "copy CD" feature) for the car, or even MP3 CD-RW media instead.
Then if they get stolen, all the losers get are twenty-cent WORM media.

Stealth installs are the best though, as noted, for avoiding smash and grab amateurs.
That, and responsible use of the system, not attracting attention or advertising what you have in the car.
Yeah I know.. I sound like a parent. I ruin all the fun of a loud system.
