bleh i just got done reading their return policies and such, basically you only have 15days to get an RA# and they dont take much back, and theres a 7% restocking fee.

how was your experience with them? shipping? any problems?

I had my amp for about 3 months and it stopped working.

I emailed hookedontronics about it and they said that they would fix it, but I would have to pay shipping.

I emailed Kicker just to make sure that they wouldn't it fix it since I didnt buy it from an authorized dealer,but Kicker agreed to fix it. I had to send Kicker $35 bucks with my amp. I recieved my amp back in about 3 weeks and they didnt charge me any additional money for my amp. So I got my amp repaired and sent back to me for $35 bucks.

So yeah It seems as if the return policy is alright even though I didnt have them fix it.

i think i remember you talking about that from the old board or something.

yeah I think im just gonna have to shell out decent $ and go authorized, sucks though, first im gonna try to pick up this JBl 1200 on ebay, although I love the Kx 1200 features...rca outs, remote bass...bleh.

go to eBay.
Find an Orion 2250SX or XTR2250.
1280 watts RMS x 1 bridged @ 4 ohms.
I use two of them myself for a pair of RE XXX subs and a third in stereo for my front stage.

You should be able to get one used in good shape for $250-350.
Class AB, active cooling, accepts 4ga power and ground.
great amplifiers.
big, though. 24" long.
