length x width x height DIVIDED BY 1728. This will give you internal volume :)

If you are measuring the outside dimensions remember to take in account for the wood, so if 3/4" mdf, take 1.5 off the measurement..

outside dimensions

12" long, 12" wide, and 12" high you deduct 1.5" (assuming its 3/4" wood) off each measurement...

10.5" long, 10.5" wide, 10.5" high.

10.5 x 10.5 x 10.5 = 1157.625 / 1728 = 0.669
