i've been on that HU for a few months now. actually been looking forward to it. never figured ed would be carrying it, though. nonetheless, that'll be my next HU (whenever i can afford another car). the current HU's are garbage imo. not to mention pioneer stopped production of the p9.

Psh come to Michigan. Not a single SQ or SPL event comes through Michigan this year. I'm so pissed off.

Did I mention eD sends me THREE FUCKING EMAILS whenever they feel the need to tell me about their stupid little promotions? THREE. I have unsubscribed about 8 times now.

Wow... i am surprised this HU is getting negative assumptions without a fair review done yet...
You guys doing this because eD decided to be the 1st to bring it to the states?
Or do you guys do this based on gut feeling???
If anyone really wants to know, we could see about getting a service manual to someone that can actually give us a detailed explanation of its internals & the implementation of key procs in it.

i was really hoping to get one cause it has been on elitecaraudio forum for over a half of a year. the features really look good but it does suck that ed is doing the ordering. im still thinking about ordering one but i think ill wait till many people have it first. i think it could be a very nice deck but then again the compnay has been pretty shifty they would be on elite for a while talking about it then just disappear and wouldnt answer emails for ever. and the warranty has to go through ural which means it goes to russia.

we do this because of eD's track record with the users of this board.
They're becoming the next audiobahn.
Besides, who wants to brag about having gear that sounds like you're talking about having erectile dysfunction?

Hopefully, a more reliable importer will pick it up... I think it will live up to the hype & thus would be deserving of better support state side.

In this example it is because I've dealt with electronics and DSP for years, and putting that many features in a unit so small requires shortcuts in the componentry.

THANK YOU. This is what people are not understanding. If my 30-band EQ costs almost the same as your HU w/ the 30 band built in, something isn't right. There is no way that HU can do all of those features on an audiophile level, especially at that price and in a unit so small.
