Those are great prices, but the guy at nexxon is an idiot.

When I first started looking for a DD 9512e I came accross his site and seen that he was selling them for a couple hundred bucks cheaper than DD. I ordered a 9512e from him and waited a few weeks and I didnt recieve anything. Well I went to his site again and noticed that he had taken Digital Designs off of there. So I called him up and he said that he was unable to get my sub because DD doesnt authorize internet sales. He never called me to let me know about this or anything so I was waiting for something that wasn't even on its way. My friend had ordered a 3512 from him and everything went smooth.

If he was selling a 9512e for $450 how and the hell did he get them so cheap if he wasn't even a dealer?

Now I notice that he has it posted on his site that he can get any DD product again. :confused :

IF a company says they do not authorize internet sales think twice about buying their product over the internet.

Last time I looked at the nexxon site it appeared to have been made in a druken stupper. It was equivelant to an 8th grade computer class project....

Not to steal your thread or anything, but I didn't feel the need to start a new one. I found a 160 amp alt on ebay and it says I need to upgrade the cable to a 4 guage wire instead of the 8 I think is stock. They said they will include this wire for $25. Can I just use the same 4 guage wire that I use for my amp? I can't see paying $25 for this cable when I can just go to the car audio shop and buy a few feet of power wire.

Ok Another question. Think a 140amp will be enough? I was considering the 160 but the 140 is much cheaper. I'm running my amp at 1ohm which would come out to be 1600 watts at full volume, which it will never see. I was thinking about getting a BP1200.1 from sounddomain since they are so cheap but should I get the 140 or the 160?

I wouldn't go any less then 160. If you are only running 1200 watts then the 140 might be okay, it wil lleave about 50 amps left to run your car. But if you are running a 1600 watt amp, no less then the 160 amp alternator.

Well lets hope someone outbids me on the 140 lol and I can buy it now the 160. I would rather have extra for the future rather than just enough and have to upgrade again later.

I have a question about alternators and new cars. If I replace my stock alte with an HO alternator on my brand new car, does that void the manufacturers warranty?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it will void it....

Contact your dealer. In some cases it will others it won't. It might not especially if you have them install it.
