Please bring your weather here!!! It gets just plain nasty down here.
It topped off today at about 91 degrees, I don't know what the heat index was. At least the humidity wasn't high, only around 55%

Us southern people will get our torture once July and August come around. If you haven't felt 100+ degrees with extremely high humidity, be grateful. I used to work in a Paper mill that averaged 140 degrees inside and 90+% humidity. It got 160 in hot spots. Definately not a comfortable situation.

damn, must have been tough to keep hydrated...and cool. Yeah washington (at least eastern WA..) is a good palce to live in I guess. Hot in the summer, snowy cold in the winter. Kind of the typical seasons. we had a gigantic drought this winter though, I think the biggest in our history, so now spring is making up for it. and it sucks.

Just keep in mind that in high humidity, sweat doesn't evaporate :-/ And you sweat more with little activity... yum

You lose a lot of salt from sweating, you'd sweat a couple seconds after walking in there. I could go to lunch and pour so much salt on my food to turn it near white and grainy, and still couldn't taste the salt at all. Gatorade is your best friend. Breathing is a big difficulty too, you simply can't get used to something like that, everytime we had a problem with equipment we had to take turns working on it, and had a utility guy or operator come watch us to make sure we didn't pass out. We'd work for 5 minutes and come tag in somebody else. Luckily we had a control room with A/C, so we had a place to resort to.
