yeah, in my truck i have
Pioneer DEH-7600
RF Punch 300x2 bridged
pioneer 12
RF Punch 12
RF power 6.5 coax. up front

but i am looking to upgrade amp and subs again and use punch to drive the coax and
prob get some good comps in the future to replace coaxs

I do remember Jensen made the best 6x9's you could buy there for a while.

My first* setup was in my dad's old truck (1984 reg. cab Dodge). It consisted of a Sony CDX-4000X cheap cd player and Cambridge Soundworks 5&1/4" coaxials which sounded pretty good for coaxials.

After my dad sold the truck, the Sony HU went into my (well, my mother's at the time) van (note this is still before I could legally drive). I had found some home floorstanding speakers sitting out for the garbage man and took their tweeters and crossovers out of them. I proceeded to cut holes in the front doors of the van and holes in the rear by the rear speakers. I placed the tweeters in as well as the crossovers to effectively create component speakers :) . Note, this was all powered off of the HU and was before I understood Ohm's law lol. Basically my HU was doing a 3.6 ohm load for the rear and probably the same for the front. I eventually realized some of Ohm's law and bought a Pioneer 4 channel amp (35x4). The Pioneer was a weak amp by far, highly unrecommended.

After I had done all of that, my dad goes and says, "why don't you just get aftermarket speakers?" which made me turn to the old CAC board and undo my 'components' :) . So then I wound up buying Infinity Kappa 5x7's along with 2 JBL amps and an Infinity Perfect 12.1d.

Now you see where I stand with my Pioneer DEH-P9600MP, 2 JBL amps (BP600.1 and P180.2), Adire Brahma 15" MKII, and Rainbow Profi CS230's.

not sure on clicking three times. mine go through first click, though rarely it does hang for a moment or two before going through when the board is busy or someone else is replying at the same time.

Fishy, yup, they were one of the worst things I've ever heard.
