oh that's strange, is it making the whining noise all the time, or just when the engine in running?johnsahl wrote:Not that good. Turned it on and got a terrible whining noise. Redid ALL wiring once more, and its 110% right. Still whining..
So, I am going to put in another amplifier today, luckily I do have a spare...
Hope you get it back soon, so you can continue on the install.johnsahl wrote:All the time.. I just replaced the X2400 with my last X1000, and all noise has gone, so I am sending the X2400 to Germany to have them fix it. Luckily there is lifetime (30 years) warranty on them![]()
They received it down there today, and I hope they send it back soon, but also that they take their time fixing itChris from Washington wrote:Hope you get it back soon, so you can continue on the install.
Looking forward to seeing more pics.
wow that's a quick turn around!johnsahl wrote:Just got an email from them today, and they have fixed it, and its being shipped out tomorrow, so with a little luck, I will be installing it after the weekend.
Have to say: What an incredible service they provide, it's quite astonishing!
wow that is amazing!johnsahl wrote:When I got home last night, there was a package with my X2400.
As I bought it second hand, and got it at a good price, there was quite a few screws missing on the outside, but now that I got it back from repair, all external screws were replaced including the ones missing.
On the note following the return of the amp, I can see whats been done to it:
1. RCA-plugs replaced
2. Amp internals upgraded to newest version
3. Test measured
4. Test played
All within warranty...
I am just absolutely blown away by their service!
Unfortunately, due to work, I wont be able to install it until a couple of weeks from :-(
