Not that good. Turned it on and got a terrible whining noise. Redid ALL wiring once more, and its 110% right. Still whining..

So, I am going to put in another amplifier today, luckily I do have a spare...

oh that's strange, is it making the whining noise all the time, or just when the engine in running?

All the time.. I just replaced the X2400 with my last X1000, and all noise has gone, so I am sending the X2400 to Germany to have them fix it. Luckily there is lifetime (30 years) warranty on them ;)

Hope you get it back soon, so you can continue on the install.

Looking forward to seeing more pics.

Just got an email from them today, and they have fixed it, and its being shipped out tomorrow, so with a little luck, I will be installing it after the weekend.

Have to say: What an incredible service they provide, it's quite astonishing!

When I got home last night, there was a package with my X2400.

As I bought it second hand, and got it at a good price, there was quite a few screws missing on the outside, but now that I got it back from repair, all external screws were replaced including the ones missing.

On the note following the return of the amp, I can see whats been done to it:

1. RCA-plugs replaced
2. Amp internals upgraded to newest version
3. Test measured
4. Test played

All within warranty...

I am just absolutely blown away by their service!

Unfortunately, due to work, I wont be able to install it until a couple of weeks from :-(
