Ya I think I will go with the MB Quart amp and dual SWR-1242D subs. And at the prices of the SHURiKEN batteries at Sonic Electronicx I may just get a battery for the trunk and replace stock battery as well.
Anyone know of any other place online that sells the Shuriken batteries at comparable or lower prices than Sonic Electronix?

So are you for Shuriken or against?

I think he missed the Big 3 comment.

You will need to do the Big 3 also.

you can use 4 awg for all of the big 3, even if you use 0 awg to go to the back of your car.

most people think its pointless and even detrimental to use wire larger than 4 awg for those.

using 0 gauge can actually damage your alt if used for the + on the alt. The low resistance in the wire actually turns the pos terminal into a resistor, causing the terminal to heat up (compliments of bill's knowledge)

Ok I have done some checking and my battery negative wire is already 4awg in size. So do I still need to upgrade from there or just add a second set of 4awg wires along with the factory one?

I did not look at the chassis ground so not sure how big that one is.

What kind of car is this again? Never cut the factory wires just add more wires. Cutting the wire does nothing for you. Leave it there it cant hurt anything. Add a batter to chassis wire battery to alt wire and chassis to engine wire in 4awg.
