qualitywise hifonics. But Id gofor the power acoustik. More versitile and still pretty good amp. but you can use that in other future setups too. And price wise also.

On the amp - I would go with the Hifonics. Power Acoustik amps are decent for guys on budgets, but with the amount of power it is with being class a/b, you are going to have very bad voltage problems. It just isnt worth it, this is one of those times it is worth the extra dollar to get something of better quality.

On the box - Pre fab's in general arent that great. The site doesnt list size or tuning, so you are in the dark on that. Subs need to go into enclosures that are designed for them so the subs play optimally. If you want to try it, go ahead, but I would suggest having someone build you one if you do not want to build one. Yes, it will cost more money, but that decision will have to be with you if you can shed out th extra money.

On the wiring kit - That 4g kit is overpriced. Wiring that I have found to be good wiring at a pretty good price is Knu Konceptz. http://www.knukonceptz.com Shipping is pretty cheap and they ship real fast too.

Quality

Hifonics = Very good
Poweraccoustic = ok for the price

Power

hifonics = 1200 Watts
Poweraccoustic = 750 Watts

Power consumption

Hifonics = 30% more efficent

IMO dont buy the prefab. If you want a price, PM mr. bwcad1 that posted in here for a quote on a box.

The Knu Konceptz wire will be cheaper than the JL and you will not really notice a difference in either of them.

Thats Ryan from Ohio, not Chris from Washington ;)

I will do the box for $150 also.

Most definitely the Hifonics for the reasons already stated. More efficent, more power, way better build quality.

I'm not the box builder, that's Ryan. Trust me, you don't want me to build you a box :)

As for the wiring, go with Knu Koncetpz, all their products are great. Better price, and they get the stuff to you fast too.
