Went shopping today

Post by colemanyoungerinalaska »

i got my tax return and went out looking for some new subs. i cant stand the way all the subs ive looked at today look. alot of them looked like toys and the boxes look plastic. then i finally went to a shop that made nice wood boxes but all they carried was mtx, rockford fosgate and really expensive tvs it used to be called powersounds and it was pretty good then now it is image audio then i went to igloo electronics which should now be called the jl audio store ran by a prick. Then i drove to anchorage and went to pyramid audio all they had in their store was mtx subs and amps. i used to like those when i was younger i had 3 12 ohm mtx blue thunders in a box in my honda then 2 road thunders in my volkswagen i still like them actually its just i want more of a selection. after i went to all the pawn shops i decided to go to best buy. they had the widest selection of crap but it was all crap. anyways theres a few more shops in anchorage i havent hit up and 1 shop out past wasilla i havent been to so hopefully later on today my quest to find some kickass 10s will be over

How much money do you have to spend and how much room do you have in your car? There are some sweet deals on some NICE subs right now. I'm actually cashing in on them real soon :)

Both have some sweet products at prices that are practically legalized stealing.

is the 600 for just the subs or subs and amp. If it is just for the subs, what do you have to power the subs?? And make sure when you pick the subs you want that you read up and decide on a good enclosure for them and i would reccommend you making it. Enclosure is everything.

what is the model number of the amp? make sure you look at the RMS/continous power handling. the max wattage means nothing, as most will tell you, the rms/continous will tell you how many watts the sub/speaker can take daily.
