JL Audio XRs comps - is this new or old box?

Post by chodecz »

Hi guys,

I bought some XR component speaker that came in this box...

I've seen some on eBay with this box...

Is the latter simply a newer design of packaging (with exactly the same product)?? Or has there been some updating to the product aswell???

Best regards.

Something to keep in mind...
A lot of the times if companies have a product that they don't update from year to year... which happens a lot with speakers. They will change the packaging just so they can keep tabs on the model years easier, that and it's kinda a marketing scheme to make the new model year stuff more atractive to the consumer.
When they do actually change the product itself... there is almost always a change in the model number as well... so no worries on the box it came in :)

Got something to sell huh.

Yeah I saw this on a diffrent post, and it worried me. Hopefully we are wrong, and he actually adds something to the forum.

If not, good luck trying to sell whatever it is. You will notice we are a little shy when it comes to purchasing stuff from new guys. But hay, if your a good guy, and offer us a good price, who knows what will happen.
