my neighbor just got two 15 cvx dual 2s off a zx1500.1

and i was skeptical about the system... ididnt think the kickers were gonna be all the great ... about the same level as the cvr with alittle more spl ..

lemme tell you ... these things slam ... very good sql ... just as loud as an L7 with the sq of a CVR ... maybe alittle better ...

it was in a 4 cuft sealed box ... in a focus hatch ... anyone looking for a moderately priced sql sub .. look into these ... very impressed with the build of the sub and the output

my cousin has a hookup with a friend of his ... that gets him very good deals on everything kicker carries ...

2 12 inch cvx
kicker zx1000.1

i can get the pair of 12s and the amp for 480 shipped ... which is an amazing deal way below even ebay prices ...

or u talking about JL Audio? in which case I will agree with you and say JL Audio has a good rep and build .. but is amazingly overpriced ..

I plan on getting this setup when I get my first 500 dollars ... alittle on the broke side.. lol

what kind of box do u think these would perform the best ... i was thinking 4 to 5 cu.ft ported .. upfiring in a focus hatch ...

JL's not really that over priced... expensive yeah, but its good stuff, built well, etc. i deffinitely got my moneys worth out fo my 13w1v2, and its a good name so you can sell it decently too. i think i got around $100 for a sub i paid $150ish for 6 months earlier.
