CaptainPioneer wrote:William, i looked up on the Remington that you were torn over and it appears to have some really major issues with jamming and feeding issues... I know im not a gun expert but thank god i can read... aparently alot of people have had problems with the gun jamming alot with a full magazine, and not feeding correctly due to powerder resedue. Another thing that was mentioned was about the saftey being accidentally locked into the fire position so i would take that as not being very safe.. They mentioned the 10/22 and said that it was a much better rifle with minimal issues.

Thanks.
I think I will go with the Ruger. I tried to look into Savage, but all of the Wal-Marts around here don't carry firearms anymore.
You can buy a 25 shot clip for that .22 caliber Ruger, if it's legal to do so in your state. We would load up the 25 shot clips and go nuts on any small defenceless animals that crossed our paths in the bush. The .22 caliber Ruger is a kick ass gun and very dependable.

No, never and sometimes we would screw around and pull the trigger so fast it would sound like a full-automatic rifle. They really are well built rifles, we've put thousands of rounds through them without problems.

I guess if the boar refuses to leave after, I'll take the 357 and make him.
You might have to check your local laws to see the minimal caliber size limits for wild game. I think the smallest size in Alberta is the .223 rifle. But I think I read a hint of joking around in your post anyway.
I've watched boar hunting videos and always wanted to try it. They look like they have some pretty bad tempers.
Yea, I was really just kidding. But I will take a 357 revolver with me just in case I actually come across one. Those things will charge. Kinda scarey, I would shoot one if they looked like they were going to charge.
Anyways, You are looking at the proud owner of a new Ruger 10/22. Wood stock, stainless steel barrel, and an extra 25 round magazine. Unfortunately, the store didn't have any of the large boxes of ammo, so I had to settle with 100 rounds for now. I was impressed they included a lock and locking gear with it.
Another thing the store didn't have was a case for it. All of the cases were too large. For now, I've got it in a soft guitar case. I feel so gangster
