Kayak

Post by Ryan from Ohio »

Does anyone own a kayak?

My friend and I have been talking about buying a set for a year now.

My dad has been building one for the past 15+ years (lmao- I know!)...

My friends Dad plans on buying one after we get ours and he gets to try one out before buying...

That better be a damn good kayak when he's done!!!

How popular are they up there? I don't see them much down here. Mainly canoes for rivers.

A couple of my friends and I went on a 8 hour float trip today (raft) and I was pretty impressed with the amount of kayaks we seen out... Maybe next time we'll rock some kayaks instead. :happy055:

My buddy has 2 kayaks and they are really fun. We take them on this creek by my parents' house and we can kayak through water less than 6 inches deep, so you can go almost anywhere. He got his at Dick's and they gave him a deal for buying 2, so you might want to check on that. I think his were supposed to be $350 a piece and he got both for $600 with upgraded paddels. I'm not sure on the brand though.

Go for it Ryan!!
