Top spec "12 sub 500w'ish

That sounds like a great system to me. Those Kappa components sound great, I just think they lack in the midbass region. Everything looks good there and I think he'll be happy with it. What vehicle is this going in?

Into a Vauxhall Corsa (i'm from England btw). Its a small (tiny in US terms :) ) hatchback.

omietrice on here was selling a 12W6v2 for $300. Also, eatank had some Arc Audio 12" subs for like $145 a piece. Either would make you a happy man. Both are in the FS section if you want to see.

I don't know if either of them would ship overseas, they might if you covered the extra cost of shipping.

Also, if you've got a hatchback, your best is to go CRX Style ported (subs up, ports firing twoards the rear).

Oh yeah, eatank had some Arc Audio 12" subs, too, for like $145 a piece-really good SQL sub for a killer price. Also in the FS section. Two of those would make you a happy man, great SQ on those.

well i can run 900 rms on my stock alt on my sunfire with no dimming at very loud volume (3/4)

Comp set either Elemental Design 6000s(125 bucks) or MB Quart DSF216 6 1/2''
front amp-Hifonics ZX2000 99bucks, i also own this amp... awsome
sub amp- Hifonics TX1005D 165 and you could run a pair or SE's off that..
all the stuff i listed is brand new and the total was only like 550, wich means you could afford two SE's if you wanted or add other stuff to the system adn still stay under 1000

i use the tx1005d, i've had no problems with it, and it makes my elevation comps sound greaat.
