What I'd do in your situation is buy up stock of some high end home drivers from somewhere like Madisound. SEAS Excels are a really good example. SEAS offers many different plans on their site to build home audio systems from their excellent (and I mean EXCELLENT) drivers. Then you could put together some systems yourself and test the water before really diving into becoming a dealer. You can get discounts from Madisound for buying in bulk if you ever had to, but I'd start small and see how it goes in your area.

If people liked what they heard from the home comps, you could try to pick up their mobile lineup as well.

ya i was thinking about that. right now i got a wholesale account at partsexpress and they have dayton and morel and some others which would also be a good start too. ill check into those seas some time. i gotta figure out my xover program and work with that then start on the high end stuff.

Adire has terrible customer service, and treat customers like shit. I know a few people that have been waiting on drivers for MONTHS. Is that the kind of thing you want? A customer calling you every day for months asking you where the hell his subwoofer is? That's a sure way to lose a customer.

I'd probably start with Daytons Reference stuff. Morel is also very similar to DLS (Morel built the first DLS Iridiums, now DLS makes them on their own). Morel, Dynaudio, and DLS are all very similar in sound, which makes sense because Morel licenses its technology from Dynaudio, and Morel built DLS Iridiums at first (which haven't changed since).

Usher has some very nice stuff, Hivi Research makes good isodynamic tweets. I've heard good things about B&C as far as matching them with horns.

actually i have that right now so i know how it is. thats why i was leaning towards RE. i know you dont like them Justin but i have to find some thing here pretty soon cause i have a few customers that want an all out spl car and they want some big high power drivers. i know i would be able to cover REs opening order for sure with their orders.

RE MTs are good for SPL, and they do have a more dedicated buildhouse than Adire does. DD is better for SPL subs IMO, but they're expensive and takes a while to get some in.

DD also offers OEM woofs...

Atomic looks good. They have some lower end stuff to cover that "range"
