i feel lost...

Post by two4fifteen »

i dont kno what to do. my car is basically exactly how i want it to sound. i dont really wanna mess with a dvd set-up, i can just enjoy that in my best friends car, and i dont have to drive. and im getting my HO alt and upgraded wiring next week. but other than that, theres nothing else for me to search for online every day at work like ive been for the past 6 months or so. the components sound amazing, im lovin the sub, the deck works great... maybe ill just spend some time figuring out how to clean up my wiring or something. its kinda messy in my trunk right now... i dont kno... got nothin else to talk about either....

this is what i call audiophiles block you think you have it all you are completely content you are at the point where this either becomes an obsession or a once upon a time hobby, we cant make the decision for you, you have to and you will find the answer in your heart, i hope you join the ranks of us crazys! and stick with it. trust me in about 3-6 months if you stick with it you will want to upgrade something or change something or build a fiberglass custom something! lol the list goes on and on

i dont want an eq. that clarion dxz945mp has alot of settings to mess with and i got it sounding perfect to me. thats another reason i dont want a flip out dvd player, im afraid it wont sound as good. i think im just gunna focus on the appearnace of everything, like cleaning up the wiring and just the general install.

i have felt the same way about my system for the past year or so. i am completely content on how everything sounds, i just dont want to upgrade anything anytime soon, cause it would cost $600+. if you are happy with your system, thats good, you've done your job, enjoy it for a little bit.

how bout messing with the interior? put in some switches, maybe a neon in the trunk...that will keep you occupied for a little. put in a relay or two, learn a little about wiring. amp rack? etc
