custom kick panels

Post by audiobass10 »

Just wondering what kind of work goes into making custom kick panels for your vehicle. What materials can be used to make them? I know fiberglass is a common material used in making them but are there any other less complicated options?

Wood? If you don't care that they are square. Besides that fiberglass is the way to go.

Would building kick panels be something hard to start out with if you've never worked with fiberglass?

Fiberglass is pretty easy to work with. Cleaning up is kind of annoying and you need to work pretty quick with it, but if you plan everything out carefully it's pretty easy. Do a search on google.com for fiberglass kick panels. You should be able to pull up plenty of tutorials on how other people have made their kicks.
