Which is better?

I was looking at some amplifiers that i want to get and i was wondering if there is a difference in the mtx TA7801 and the kicker kx1200.1, besides the rms at 2 ohms. Is one brand considered to be better than the other or are the about the same cause ive heard good for both.

I put them both at about the same level of performance and reliability and features.
it's personal preference at that point, and price.

if it was me i would lean more toward the kicker. i agree with kiki but i think that down the road if you wanted to upgrade you would probably have an easier time gettting money back out of the kicker, plus i have installed kicker and mtx amps and i just kinda have a personal preference for the kicker.

you might want to choose your subs first if you havent then choose your amp.

The Kicker amp is rated at 1 ohm not 2. Both noce amps but what are you going to be running for subs?
