Power wire question

hey all its been a while.. i am getting ready to buy my power wire for my amp which is a ppi bk1800.1d. I referred to the chart in the faqs and it falls a little short on info i need. The amp calls for at least a 160amp fuse will 2awg be enough or should i just go ahead and get the 0awg? It is going in a 2008 gmc envoy so will probably be 15-17 ft long...thank you and hope everyone had a good holiday

I personally would get the 0awg, even if it was overkill for now you'll be ready for any future expansions of your system if you decide to go with anything more later on.

If you haven't already done it, don't forget to do the Big 3 too.

haven't got to the big3 yet. actually never have done a big3 upgrade to any of my rides, but since this is gonna be the biggest amp i have used i know i need to get out there and do it. I have to harvest some 4 gauge out of the cherokee first. But that brings another question..is cca wire ok to use for the big3?
