U shaped?

Can you draw a picture of that? Or show us what you mean.

instead of L-shaped and adding port wall along the back of the box, i'm going to add the wall from the back of the box to the front of the box. u shape instead of L-shaped.

I think hes going to add a piece attached to the back wall.

The issue here is, from your measurements, the opening in back is only 2"- where as the port is 3 1/4" wide at the front. This creates an issue.

If this is accurate that box isnt correctly design/made.

If the port is 3 1/4" wide then that board should be 3 1/4" from the rear of the box.

i've decided to not use this box, i found another sealed box that has the correct air space for porting, i'll add ports to it.

You should really have a box made for those subs.

You'll spend a little more, but you'll get a LOT more in return.

If the sealed box is the correct volume you need to account for the port displacement you are about to take away.

Quoted for truth.

If your really that interested in getting the correct sound then build a box of pay someone to build you a box. If your gonna keep doing half of whats needed like modifying sealed boxes and shit then just keep what you have. You will get very little in return the way your currently thinking.

Providing the box is oversize it would work out.

To bad DHL still didnt ship within the US. I could build you a box and shipping would be only about $40.
