wiring my subs.

Post by Tim »

Okay gang its about time to wire my subs. Im running two D4 12 shallow mount punch's.

Ive got the coils wired in parallel, negative to negative and positive to positive, on each sub.

Now I just need to run a wire from one of the neg. coils to the neg. terminal on the amp, and one from the pos. coil to the pos. terminal on the amp.
Do this for each sub, and hook them straight to the amps pos and neg. for each channel. That will give me a 1 ohm load right. Is this correct??

Thanks,

tim

Its a single channel but has dual posts to make wiring easier. wire positives to the positive posts and the negatives to the negative posts. I prefer to not use jumpers.

So use all four posts, insted of just using two, right.

Yes.

Spl bible teaches us overkill is better more wire = less resistance.
