settle down beav.....didnt say you couldnt sell the intakes, didnt say you shouldnt make some money on them. i think either i didnt make my point or you didnt realize it. i was just saying you probably arent going to do well offering a cam with the setup. espescially if your offering them on a mustang forum.(which id like the web site if you dont mind, i belong to one locally here too) unless you are getting a deal on the cams and can offer them cheaper than they can be bought elsewhere. and yes, everyday i have customers who call me out on prices because of ebay. i also hit the yards though because i have gotten into collision repair and everytime im there i look for 5.0 parts but they are getting harder to find all the time. although right now im looking for fox body convertible seats and they are impossible, my car came from florida and the leather seats are toasted bad. go for it though, hopefully im wrong. i just have a lot of years in retail including but not limited to the business i own now. the economy is kind of in the crapper right now and i have people every day piecing audio systems together a little at a time. i know of guys doing the same with their engine work. i just think your gonna have to make it a sweet deal to sell the kit. i never said you were asking too much. and i will continue to search the yards. i was gonna ask what you wanted for an explorer intake but i guess you dont want to sell it as pulled. no coating or port work. i just am looking for one in stock form.

I wasnt trying to sound antsy, just making a point, it's hard to read emotions on the internet.

The owner of the machine shop said he can beat the price of jegs and summit by a decent amount. I'm going to get some prices from him to see by exactly how much. The customer would get the cam at my cost if they bought either the heads or intake with it, or both.

What color of seats do you need, I find the convertibles pretty regularly. I think the seats are right around 40 bucks for the pair at the pick in pull yards. If you just need the cover the shipping wouldnt be much at all. Because I think you are pretty, I'd only charge you whatever it cost me.

I will sell the intakes and heads "as is" if thats what the customers what.

I hurt my knee and didnt do any work for about 2 weeks, so I'm kind of playing "catch up" on my bills now.

If you're not in a real big hurry for one, I'll get one with the thottle body and let you have it for my cost. The intake is either 35 or 40 depending where I get it. The thottle body tacks on about 8 bucks, but will gain you a few extra ponies.

So figure roughly 50 bucks plus whatever shipping will be. But it might be a month or two before I can get you one...

Let me know.

hell yea, im in no hurry and you just became my new sexual fantasy. those things fetch about 100 at the yards around here if you can find one. that does in clude the tb but hell for an extra 8 whose complaining. that was my point primarily ab out the cams. if you cant price it better then it would be a tough sale. put the kits together and if you want ill plug it at this local mustang site i belong to here. as far as the seats go, i only need the covers but i need either black or grey and i need front and rear. preferably leather. id take cloth but then id need the whole seat cause the padding is different. also what would you take for a set of heads? and can you get the headers id need to run them?

The factory style leather upholstery kits are about 900 for a quality kit. For that price I would check into katzkin.

do you realize the price of an industrial sewing machine that will stitch a quality leather? it takes a machine that has enough power and is set up with enough working room to slide larger pieces around and the collet has to accept a needle with a larger eye for the thicker thread.

Return Policies ;)

lol, nah I didn't think about that, my mom has an older sewing machine and I think it can do it. I never tried, but I'm gonna bust it out and see.

The (p) heads are the ones who require the headers. They are a bit easier to find, therefore I can sell them cheaper. I pay around 70 bucks for a set of heads. If you want to get the heads and intake together I can do around 150.00 for it all (plus shipping). Thats in "as is" condition of course.

Like I said, you'll have to give me some time so I can catch up, but once I do I'll sling some heads and an intake your way.

As of right now I do not have a connection that deals with the headers, but the ford racing headers works well. Alot of people bitch about the (p) heads because you have to get "special" headers, but if you're going to do a h/c/i swap it would be silly going back with the stock headers.

I CAN get the regular gt40 heads like those on the cobras, but they arent always the better choice. Plus, they're kind of like my cake.... :D

I might have to fetch all these parts and let you come down and get them!

I'll hook cac up!
