crazy paint sketch of my box.

i'm pretty sure the port length and total volume is correct, the net volume comes out to 2.25 (or very close to it)

I have google sketchup and Autocad 2008. Just don't know how to use them enough, its been a long time since I've needed them. My gf is the one who is good at them.

I will be OK without plans, I usually do cabinetry and other wood working only using rough sketches.

Obviously bill's box drawings are very nice.

Bill, in the first picture, the round port is boxed off, does this give the same effects of having external ports? I've heard external ports can be louder???

lol well it was a secret but it has close to that affect but it also works by creating pressure "zones" in the box that "feed" the port. that box was designed to be loud as hell. and it was lol. it also creates more stablility for the port and reduces odd loading issues in the box.

Ahh, I see...

I need to work on a design for the ranger, cant figure out if I want to try (2) 8's, (1) 10", (1) 12" slim mount.

I'll probably start a thread on it later... :D
