the autoteks are a damn nice amp, i sell the street machines quite a bit and honestly the rms power is probably underrated somewhat

I don't have mine hooked up yet because I'm debating getting another one. But I really like mine, from what I can tell they are well built, and clean. One thing you need to think of though is they are class A/B. Typically a class D mono block will put out more power.
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio ... urerID=657 I found this link, it was the link I used most for comparing amps.

ok so i looked up the sm 11000 on this site and it gave me the same features that michael gave me.
* RMS Power @ 4-Ohms: 250W x 1
* RMS Power @ 2-Ohms: 500W x 1
* RMS Power @ 1-Ohms: 1000W x 1
* A/B-Class Amplifier Topography
* Pro-FiTM MOSFET Outputs
* ASPS ( Auto-Step Power Supply )
* Road Worthy© TCID (Twin-Coil Isolation Design)
* Fully Adjustable Pro-Design Crossover
* 24 dB Low-Pass Crossover
* 24 dB Subsonic Filter
* Bass Thrust
* Variable Bass Equalization
* RCA Line Outputs
* Amplifier Daisy-Chaining
* 4-Guage Power Connectors
* 1-Ohm stable
so does it put out 1000 watts rms or those just the peak numbers?

its gonna be maxx output. those are basically the same as the crunch ground pounders i believe. i know there is a lot of misinformation out there and they are huge given their power output but they are also class ab amplifiers

thing is your never gonna see that power in a car anyway. too many other issues things going on. voltage, impedence, all affect how much power your putting out. the super sports are def a step up and id say they do real close to rated power if not right on....basically for me, if i needed a thousand watts or close to it at 1 ohm id probably get the sm11500 for the money and call it a day. the street machine is a good solid amp but the ratings are max ratings and their only paper ratings anyway. i run the sm11000 on a lot of single 12 and 15 combos and it always sound awesome....

Very true. People don't understand that there is so much going on in a car that the stereo is last in line for power. Power windows heater defroster headlights etc... And you gotta think 600 to 700 watts is quite a bit of power for the average daily user, unless you are bill wolf and that aint a drop in the bucket.

Anyway I like the sm series, they are good looking solid built amps. And the price can't be beat.
