just read it thats almost exactly what i wanna do
how do you plan on gettin those round corners i was planning on doing 45 degree corners

You going to use glue or fg to reinforce that? That's a really neat technique. Zaph uses that to make a set of HT speakers on his site (zaphaudio.com).
